Enable google analytics in magento

Click on Configuration that is under System menu.
Scroll down; you will find Google API under Sales tab in left column, Click on it.
On Google API page; click on first tab that is for Google Analytics, Click on it. Select Yes from Enable drop down field and enter Account Number.
Done! By these settings your Google analytical code will be shown in head section of you source code.
